According to an article on AolTV.com, the seventh season of Doctor Who will not start in the spring, as has been the case since the 2005 revival of the show. This time, we’ll have wait until autumn for the return of our favorite Time Lord and his fantastic blue box. This news comes from an early report of an article in the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine published in the U.K. The good news here is that there is nothing to indicate this won’t be a full regular season.
Over the summer, various sources reported that Doctor Who in 2012 would not be a full season, or wouldn’t show up at all, or might be something similar to David Tennant’s “in-between season” consisting of only four specials. This news turned out to be unfounded, and now with the announcement of the seventh season, it looks as though we can officially put this rumor to bed. Let’s just hope this rumor isn’t the ganger of another rumor, and the whole seventh season turns out to be a goo-season.
